I recently hosted the Carnivale of Couture, run by the super-fantastic shoe blogger Manolo — but I wasn’t really sure what I needed to do. Today I’ll share what I learnt along the way.

So if you’re a blogger and have thought about hosting the Carnivale of Couture but don’t know what to do, read on!

Yesterday I showed off all the things I found amongst the ‘trash’ people put out for the Council to take. I’m thrilled with all the great things I got and the other scavengers I saw looked pleased with their finds too.

There is a serious side to it though. Everything that was put out and wasn’t snapped up is now in landfill. That’s fine if something’s broken beyond repair and has no reusable or recycleable parts,…

Regular readers of this blog might’ve noticed that it hasn’t been updated as often as usual for the last few weeks. For this, I want to apologise profusely and offer a brief explanation.
