Best places to go for an online bargain

She says from unblague writes:

Ladies and gents, if you are looking for a bargain, here is a list of sites where you can almost always find something interesting for a good price.

And here’s a tip, whenever you buy something online — especially for major retailers — search first for a coupon. Fairly frequently, you can find an online coupon that will give you free shipping or some percentage off for purchases over a certain amount.

good call on the ’search for a coupon’ reminder. it takes no time at all - all you need to do is google “VENDOR NAME coupon” and browse a bit.

My wife and I were on our way to chicago and had to stop in a Red Roof Inn for the night. I searched, found a coupon from some cat-lovers website. I was able to get an upgrade (in a red roof inn you can imagine how far up we actually went) and use the difference towards an incredible dinner.

Great tip Mike! Shame it only showed up today… darn Wordpress!

Thanks for adding that Jonk. I’ve mentioned your site a couple of times but it’s good to have it on relevant archived posts too.

A neat way to save while shopping Amazon.com is (shameless plug) jangle.net.

The interface is simple and uncluttered. Shoppers can sort items by price, popularity, percent off, user ratings, and bargain status.

You can even view sample customer reviews on many products.
