Showing off: cute summer skirt, $42
Spring’s first warm breath has just arrived here in Sydney, and I’ve already bought a couple of new pieces to mix in with last year’s summer wardrobe. A couple of weeks ago it was pretty shoes; this week I bought this gorgeous skirt:

My photo’s not great; in real life it’s prettier. It’s made from purple cotton velvet with lots of embroidery. It was marked down a huge amount — originally $499 but I paid $42. It’s from Tara Jarmon and since her Target line never made it to Australia (darnit) it’s about as cheap as her stuff gets here.
So pretty! I can’t wait to wear it. The weather’s perfect, I have shoes and tops that work really well with it… but I still have a full winter pelt of leg hair to deal with before I can show them in public. Eep!
