Tam finds her personal style

A couple of reader questions prompted me to write about finding your own personal style. (So far: purchases to avoid, some points to ponder in finding your style and a book recommendation.)

Today I found a new blog called Style Sense. This is how the writer introduced herself:

I’m Tam, a 19 year old girl starting her college life. Along the way, I hope to develop my own personal style and find my own niche in this chaotic world, with this blog as a chronicle of my style journey.

Her first step was to work through the elements of personal style I posted; you can read her responses here. It will be fascinating to see how her journey unfolds.

If anyone else is also blogging their own personal style journey, let me know and I’ll post a link.

PS: More to come on this fascinating topic…

Between your posts and a fortuitous spoiler-of-me cousin’s visit [and yes, I do know that that's utterly cheating. I didn't mean to!] I’ve been able to add a few very nice additions to my wardrobe. I wish I were able to post pictures but I think you’d be at least a little proud of my ten dollar polka dot, tie-at-the-neck/halter collar top and not-just-your-basic black pumps for work and play at $21! I’ll be cheering on Tam as my style blogging would be terribly sporadic.
