Well, a learner driver’s permit anyway… so I’ve now passed a rite of passage most 16 year olds manage.

On Saturday, I took a friend who I’ll call A. shopping to pick out an outfit she could wear to a wedding this week, at the behest of her boyfriend D.

Part one of the makeover story is here, and today I get on to the good bit: the shopping!

We spent most of a day going through A.’s wardrobe, talking about what she likes and dislikes and most importantly, buying pretty clothes.

On Friday, a friend called asking me for some fashion help… for his girlfriend!

I’ll call him D. and her A., since I haven’t asked permission to spread their story all over the web.

D. told me that he and A. are going to a wedding this week and he was worried about what she was going to wear.

They’re a sartorially mismatched couple, so I knew immediately why he was worried.
