Perfume samples, under $5

Picking a new perfume is hard because scents smell different on different people — so you need to wear a fragrance for a few days before you know if it suits you.
If you can’t convince a cosmetics saleswoman to give you a sample vial of a fragrance you’d like to try, you can buy them online at Fragrance Monkey instead — and most are under $5. While that’s a lot for a few drops of perfume, it’s much cheaper than buying a big bottle that doesn’t suit you!
(My pick: Boss Intense for US$4.70.)

Dear BQ, I’ve always found it good to ask for a few samples when you’re buying perfume, because you’re buying, the retailers are often more generous with the samples.
Great stuff BQ! and to the commenter that’s quite a good tip, although with perfumes are so cheap online nowadays I won’t be buying in a real store any time soon.
