We’ve put our money where our mouth is and ditched all paid advertising, so we now only make money by finding fabulous bargains you want to buy — and each month, one lucky reader will get their favourite bargain for free.

Our picks include great clothes, shoes, bags, jewelry, makeup and fragrances, so there are some fabulous prizes up for grabs.

Plus there’s a second chance draw, just for bloggers!

Here’s how you can win.

Tell us what you love and you could win it

Entering our contest is easy. All you need to do is tell us which of our picks you like best, and you could win your favourite.

Here’s how it works:

1. Visit the site
2. Pick your favourite bargain(s) for the month
3. Leave a comment on each one you love. It can be as simple as “Love it!”, or we’d be thrilled if you tell us why you like it
4. You’re in the draw to win it

The only condition is that you get a maximum of five entries each month — so even if you love everything we’ve found, you’ll have to narrow it down a little!

If you love a bargain so much that you buy it straight away, don’t worry. Leave a comment to let us know, and if you win, you can choose between us refunding the cost of your bargain, or you can pick something else you love.

Second chance draw for bloggers

If you blog, you get an extra chance to win. All you need to do is post your picks for the month on your blog and you could win one of them.

Here’s how:

1. Write a post about your favourite Bargain Queen picks for the month. It can be as simple as “My favourite bargain(s) on The Bargain Queen this month is/are…”
2. Link to each of the bargains, so a trackback shows up on our site and we can find your entry
3. You’re in the draw to win one of your favourites!

Frequently Asked Questions

UPDATE: We’ve been asked a few questions about the contest. Here are the answers:

1. I loved it so much I bought it already… what now?

If you win something you already bought, we’ll give you a choice. Either we’ll send you a refund via Paypal, including any postage cost you incurred, OR you can choose another great bargain of similar value from our site and we’ll send it to you.

2. Can you guarantee the product will still be available when I win it?

Sorry, but we really can’t. We’re an independent web site, not a shop, so we don’t hold any stock of our own. Bargains we mention often sell out quickly — but don’t worry, you’ll still get a great prize of your choice!

3. What if the bargain is sold out by the time of the drawing?

If you win an item that’s sold out, we’ll give you a choice. Either you can pick a different bargain of similar value through our site, or we’ll send you an Amazon gift certificate to the value of your prize.

4. What if it’s not available in my size?

If you’d like it in a different size (say, for your sister’s birthday present) we’d be happy to send it to you. Otherwise, your options are the same as they are for winners whose first choice has sold out.

5. I live in (country). Can I enter?

Certainly! If you win an item the retailer won’t ship to your country, we’ll give you a choice. You can either pick something of similar value that can be shipped to you, or we’ll send you an Amazon gift certificate to the value of your prize — they ship practically everywhere!
