Cheap gift ideas: Treat their feet
As part of my strategy to focus on small gifts to make Christmas shopping easier and cheaper, I’m compiling the ultimate lists of gifts for under $20. In this gift guide I’ll cover gifts to treat their feet — because no one’s happy when their feet aren’t.
Comfy feet shouldn’t be a luxury. It only takes a few dollars to make your feet comfortable in any pair of shoes, silky soft to touch, and looking as beautiful as the day you were born.
Give the gift of comfy footsies this year with these gifts all under $20.
Keep feet healthy and pain free
The first step to comfy feet is to prevent pain all together. Fortunately, Foot Petals makes an assortment of products designed to do just that. Their Heavenly Heelz foot pads come in both buttercup and black for $6.95 a pair. They attach to the inner heel of your shoes to prevent blisters on the back of your heel.
If your slingbacks or other strappy shoes are causing you pain, Foot Petals also have Strappy Strips to ease rubbing for $7 a set.
Unless you’re wearing shoes from Cole Haan’s Nike Air line, chances are that your dress shoes don’t have as much as cushion as they need — particularly if you’re sporting 4″ heels. That’s why Foot Petal’s Tip Toe foots pads are such a great buy, providing cushioning for the ball of your foot. You can purchase a pair in black for $6.95, or a three pack of their animal print pads for $18.95.
For those stilettos they have Killer Kushionz which provide arch and heel support but are thin enough to fit where chunky orthotics could never go. They’re available in and black for $12.95.
Does someone on your list do yoga or pilates? Then check out these ToeSox. They not only provide better grip than bare feet, they’re also more hygienic than going barefoot at the gym. They’re just $12.75 to $12.99, making them well worth the price if you or your loved one avoid just one case of foot fungus.
Relieve the tension
Since a good foot rub makes an excellent gift, give your loved one a foot fantasy massager tool ($15.95). It has an omni direction massage ball “Massage Power” ribs, and acupressure point, all making a great foot rub easier to give no matter who gives it.
If that still sounds too strenuous, then check out the Dr. Scholls Ultra Cordless Pedicure Foot Spa *SOLD OUT* for just $19.99. Foot soaks aren’t just relaxing, they also make it easier to deal with rough spots and callused heels.
For people like me with permanently cold feet, there’s The Original Bed Buddy soothing foot warmers with aromatherapy for just $9.99. What a great — affordable — luxury.
Lotions and potions
For the feet that need some extra attention (and don’t they all!), Burt’s Bees has two great, all natural skincare kits made for feet. Their Foot Care kit includes a pumice stone, their coconut foot creme and a pair of cotton socks for $12.19. Their Treats for Your Feet gift set includes their coconut creme foot creme, peppermint foot lotion, signature flip-flops, and a mesh tote for the beach for $19.69.
For rough, callused feet in need of extra hydration, check out these bamboo overnight moisturizing socks from Spacific Essentials. Combine them with a foot lotion, like the ones from Burt’s Bees, and they’ll keep the lotion working on your feet all night. They’re just $5.99 for a pair.
Pretty the feet
Happy feet like to be shone off and deserve to look their best. Toe dividers ($0.79 per pair) are an essential part of a foot or spa themed gift basket and also make great stocking stuffers. They’ll keep the toes comfortably separated so that fresh pedicure isn’t ruined. Combine them with a fabulous toe-nail color like OPI’s Got the Blues for Red *SOLD OUT*.
… and keep reading The Bargain Queen for more gifts under $20. Happy shopping!

omg I need those petal things because I cannot wear backed shoes because my heels are so narrow they slip out of every shoe, and so I get really bad blisters!
I have the same problem with many of my shoes. The ones I’ve added pads to are a lot more comfortable.
Just make sure you don’t get the really cheap versions because the glue (in my experience) does not stick well and you’ll end up fighting with the dang things all day.
