Here’s a green trend that will hopefully stick.
Going green is not just commendable, it’s now stylish. Last summer, the I’m Not A Plastic Bag canvas bags caused such a craze you’d have thought that people were waiting in line for the newest video game system. This year, eco-friendly shopping bags are still the bag to have, but the only line you’ll have to stand in is the grocery checkout line.
Not to toot my own horn, but my husband and I started using canvas grocery bags before they were cool. We’re still using them, not just to save the planet, but also because they are easier to carry than those thin plastic bags and they don’t tear open spilling our groceries everywhere. Plus, I’ve had more compliments on them than all my other bags combined.
So if you want to save the planet in style, here are some bargain priced shopping bags to get you started. All ship internationally except where noted.

If you have a techie on your gift list but don’t speak in computer acronyms don’t fear; this is one area I’ve got plenty of experience in.
My husband and I are both techies, as are many of our friends. Yes, for all my talk of shoes and bags, I’m a nerd girl to the core. Fortunately, that makes me pretty good at buying techie gifts — and I’m very excited to be able to share some ideas with you.

There’s one drink that unites the world like few others and it makes a very inexpensive gift.
Here in north Florida and other south-eastern states, we tend to drink ours cold and sweetened enough to put soda to shame. Sure, tea isn’t so much a ritual here as it is something to be gulped down with some barbecue pork, but that doesn’t mean we can’t appreciate a good cup of hot tea like our neighbors to the north and around the globe.
If you know someone who can appreciate a good cup of tea — or maybe someone who could appreciate it more, here are some gift ideas. All are under $20 and almost everything ships internationally.
